Insta of the Month – September 2016

Each month, I feature my best Instagram shot, as chosen by the likes and comments of my followers.

To kick of the series, this month’s image was taken on my first trip to Nepal in 2014, with my now wife, Katie. We were working in the mountain village of Gokyo at 5,000 meters and had risen before dawn and climbed in the dark, to the summit of Gokyo Ri (5,357 m) to watch the sunrise over Everest.

 

Two years ago, Katie and myself were on our way to spend our first three months living and working at 4,500 meters in the Himalayas of Nepal.
