My MindShift Gear RotationPro bag is my current turn to bag for any assignment that involves hiking or riding my bike and whilst it fits as carry-on for most flights I do, I find it a tight squeeze fitting a lot of gear in and it won’t take my big glass. But this looks set to change with a very interesting new line up. MindShift Gear have just announced an exciting new collaboration with renowned outdoor photographer Moose Peterson. Working with MindShift’s award-winning designers, Moose’s three classic backpacks have been upgraded and rereleased. The original “Moose Ears” design with auto-close compartment flaps protects the interior from dust, spray, and wind. The three compartment system allows you to keep lenses attached, providing the quickest way to access gear. The tuck-away harness system with removable waistbelt easily allows you to streamline your bag when loading it in a train, plane or automobile (MP-1 & MP-3 only). They are sized for carry-on, allowing you to get the maximum amount of gear on the plane.
The MP-1 looks to be something of a gear guzzling monster, apparently it will take a 400mm with a body attached. As always, MindShift do free postage and if you click the link, I get a wee nod from the folks over there.
